How do I use my worry stone pendant?

Worry stones are used by holding the stone between the index finger and the thumb - gently moving your thumb back and forth across the stone. This pretty pendant is suspended for a long 18 inch chain to allow the wearer to hold and rub the stone.

Worry stones are a natural gemstone with a carved indented curve and are used to rub back and forth the relief stress, anxiety and tension. The origins and concept of the worry stones are believed to have began by the simple action of picking up a smooth stone and rubbing in in contemplation - eventually a groove would appear.

Native American tribes took a much more sentimental approach to worry stones and would hand their worry stones down from generation to generation to create a sense of connection from previous family members.
